O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the respondents to release the balance amount of Rs.8,62,425/- to the petitioner within a time frame, in pursuant to the completion of the work on 16.06.2016 for the "improvement to the link road connecting Perambai and NH45A via Adikesavan Nagar, Vasantham Nagar and Teachers Colony, Oulgaret Municipality, Puducherry" entrusted to the petitioner by the third respondent vide work order dated 16.10.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited relief sought for in the petition, without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 26.12.2014 made by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
