The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus forbearing the respondents from reclassifying the "Vandi Paathai Puramboke" lands in Survey Nos.413/13B, 40, 41 and 42 of Rayampuram Village in Ariyalur Taluk, Ariyalur District to "Natham Puramboke" and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

granting Patta to anyone, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 06.10.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.10.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
