O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner club to conduct State level senior men boxing championship 2018 at Chennai Corporation High School, Chennai Port Trust Colony, New Washermenpet, Chennai from 02.02.2018 to 04.08.2018 by considering the petitioner club's representations dated 5.1.2018 and 10.01.2018.

2.Heard Mr.D.Jagan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.C.Gopalakrishnan, learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the Chennai Corporation has taken a decision and also passed a resolution to that effect, not to permit any private parties to conduct function in the school premises. It is further submitted that the representations of the petitioner club were considered by the respondents and the same was rejected on 01.02.2018. The rejection was also placed before the Court for perusal.

4. In the light of the above facts, this writ petition fails and the same is dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
