Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus calling for the records and quash the same leading to the detention of the petitioner's son namely Yuvaraj, son of Ganapathy, aged 26 years, detained under Act 14/82 vide detention order dated 07.07.2015 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein made in BDFGISSV No. 56/2015 the same and consequently direct the respondent herein to produce the body and person of the said detenue before this Court and thereafter set him liberty from Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai.

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) The petitioner, who is the mother of the detenu, Yuvaraj, aged 26 years, S/o Ganapathy has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the second respondent made in B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V. No. 56/2015 dated 07.07.2015 against her son branding him as a "GOONDA" as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the son of the petitioner dated 07.07.2015 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. Rt No.5387, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 19.08.2015 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
