O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to conduct survey in the subject property and to demarcate the boundaries based on the application submitted by the petitioner on 12.11.2024. 2.Heard Mr.V.Elango, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3.The petitioner is claiming right over the subject property through a registered Sale Deed dated 17.10.2002. The patta also stands in the name of the petitioner and the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the property. The petitioner wanted a survey to be conducted in the property for demarcation of boundaries. An application was submitted along with necessary charges. Since the 2/4

same was not acted upon, a representation was also made on 07.12.2024. It did not evoke response and hence, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 12.11.2024 and conduct the survey based on the title deed and the patta that has already been issued in the name of the petitioner. This process shall be completed, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If there are any rival claims, such survey shall be conducted in their presence. 5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
