ORDER

This writ petition was allowed on 25.06.2025 and was directed to be listed today under the caption "for reporting compliance" and the same is listed accordingly.

2. The petitioner, who is an octogenarian, appeared before this Court, today.

3. According to the petitioner, the directions issued by this Court on 25.06.2025 have not been complied with in full. She produced a bank statement, which reflects that a sum of Rs.5,000/- was credited to the bank account of the petitioner for a period of four months only.

4. However, it is represented by the learned counsel for the 5th respondent that a Demand Draft was handed over to the petitioner towards arrears amount. But, no proof to that effect has been produced before this Court, today. Therefore, he seeks time to get instructions from the 5th respondent. Such being the position, learned counsel for the 5th respondent is directed to produce proof of payment on the next hearing date.

5. Insofar as other compliance, viz., handing over key of one house by the 5th respondent, it is submitted by the petitioner that the 5th respondent has handed over the key, which is irrelevant i.e, the key does not pertain to the lock thereby the petitioner is unable to gain entry to the house.

6. In view of the aforesaid submissions, it is clear that the earlier order passed by this Court is complied with only in part.

7. Further, the learned counsel for the petitioner is also directed to submit a statement showing the credits reflected in the bank account of the petitioner with regard to the maintenance claim, before this Court on the next hearing date.

8. However, the petitioner being an octogenarian, her appearance on the next hearing date is dispensed with.
