Prayer : Contempt Petitions under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 13.06.2022 in W.P.Nos.31330 and 31332 of 2019. ORDER

These contempt petitions have been filed for the alleged disobedience of the common order passed by this Court dated 13.06.2022 made in W.P.Nos.31330 and 31332 of 2019.

2. As against the said order passed by this Court, intra-court appeal had been field in W.A.Nos.2023 and 2024 of 2023, which came to be disposed by order dated 31.08.2023, where a partial modification of the Writ Court order has been made, according to which, the petitioners are entitled to get reinstatement, however the backwages upto January 2021 they cannot claim and since January, 2021 or after January, 2021 they can claim backwages. With this modification, the writ appeals since were disposed of, in order to comply with the orders of this Court along with the orders of the Division Bench of this Court as stated supra, the respondent/Corporation had issued two separate orders dated 23.09.2023 and 26.09.2023 respectively, under which these two petitioners have been directed to be reinstated, however without backwages upto January, 2021 and with backwages thereafter with all other attendant benefits including continuity of service.

3. Since the copy of the said orders have been produced by the 2/4

learned Additional Advocate General and he has submitted that the orders of this Court as well as the modified order passed by the Division Bench since have been complied, no persuasive action is required in these contempt petitions.

4. By recording the aforesaid development, these contempt petitions are closed.
