Respondents Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to issue a direction against the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2015 and take appropriate actions to rescue five trafficked Indian women whose names are mentioned in the representation from Kuwait, and consequently direct the respondents 5 to 7 to take appropriate legal action against the traffickers in accordance with law.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2015 and to rescue five women who are said to be trafficked to Kuwait, and to bring them back to India.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that subsequent to the filing of this petition, he moved a H.C.P. before this Court with regard to Mrs.Subramaniyan Usha and she was brought back to India and produced before the Court, and the present petition is now confined to bring back Mrs.Rajathi, Mrs.Mariyammal Elangovan, Mrs.Alli Rani and Mrs.Rajina.

3. The Learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 2 to 4 submitted that the representation has been given in the year 2015 and they have no instructions as to the progress made till date.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the second and third respondents to immediately act upon the representation dated 18.07.2015 made by the petitioner and take immediate steps to rescue the four

women (Mrs.Rajathi, Mrs.Mariyammal Elangovan, Mrs.Alli Rani and Mrs.Rajina) from Kuwait and bring them back to India at the earliest possible time.

5. The petitioner is further directed to make a fresh representation along with a copy of this order to the second and third respondents in order to enable the respondents to act further in accordance with law.

6. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
