PRAYER: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from interfering by way of alter or change the physical structure of the above three roads situated at Block No.I-IV particularly Block No.III, situated at Ganapathy Maanagar, N.H.Scheme, Coimbatore District, by considering the representation made by the petitioner on 01.11.2023 to the respondents. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM J.) With reference to the relief sought in the present Writ Petition, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the competent authority has conducted an inspection and survey, identifying specific encroachments. Consequently, enforcement actions are proposed to be initiated.

2. In view of the said submission, the respondents are directed to proceed with the enforcement actions by adhering to the procedures contemplated under the relevant Statutes and Rules in force for the eviction of

encroachments. It is pertinent to state that sufficient opportunity shall be afforded to the encroachers to submit their explanations. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
