ORDER
The relief sought for in this writ petition is to to consider the representation letter dated 01.06.2024 sent to the Third Respondent the Sub Register Office-SRO Ashok Nagar an the same letter sent to the Second and First respondent and this Hon'ble Court to ordered to the First Respondent to directing to the Third Respondent to release Registered Doc.No.57/2009 dated 27.07.2009 on the file of S.R.O.Ashok Nagar, Chennai.
2. The case of the petitioner is that after the demise of petitioner's husband, she executed a settlement deed in favour of her three sons vide Doc.No.57/2009 with respect to certain properties. But, the said deed was kept pending before the third respondent. In order to recover the said deed, the petitioner made several attempts. But, the same was not 2/6
released. Thus, the petitioner sent a representation dated 01.06.2024 before the respondents 1 to 3, seeking release of the aforesaid settlement deed. However, the same was not released till date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
4. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.06.2024.
5. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 01.06.2024 would be considered and appropriate orders passed, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
7. Considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel 3/6
for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.06.2024, after conducting enquiry, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
