ORDER

The order, which is the subject matter of this contempt petition has been complied with.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent has also placed on record the order dated 06.02.2025 passed by the respondent in compliance with the directions issued by this Court, which is the subject matter of this contempt petition. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the Full Bench decision referred to in the order, which is the subject matter of this writ petition has not been considered. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the order dated 06.02.2025, the petitioner will have to either give a fresh representation or challenge the said order.

It is also brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner that subsequent to the passing of the order, which is the subject matter of this contempt petition, a G.O. has been passed by the Government, which entitles the petitioner to be made as Class II legal heir for the deceased. However, the same is disputed by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

4. Since the order, which is the subject matter of this contempt petition has been complied with, this contempt petition is closed. However, 2/4

liberty is granted to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation before the respondent, seeking for inclusion of his name as legal heir of the deceased, as per the G.O. and on receipt of the same, the respondent shall consider the same on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders. 11.07.2025 Index : Yes/No Speaking Order : Yes / No ab To The Tahsildar, Tondiarpet Taluk, Chennai - 81.
