Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Declaration declaring the Election held for the Constitution of Works Committee in the office of the Garrison Engineer, Avadi, Chennai-55 as null and void, as the notification issued by the first respondent herein for Constitution of Works Committee in Office Order No.65 dated 26.6.2019 and the consequential amendment issued in Officer Order No.68 dated 4.7.2019 and the resultant Election of the respondents 2 to 9 as Members of the Works Committee as per the order of the first respondent herein in No.1143/320/E1A dated 25.7.2019 and also the consequential election of the office bearers of the Works Committee issued by the first respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

herein as per Office Order No.86 dated 31.8.2019 are contrary to the Rule 42 of the Industrial Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957 and consequently, direct the I respondent herein to constitute Works Committee as per provisions of the Rule 42 of the Industrial Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957.

The learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition and also undertakes to file a memo to that effect.
