Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.07.2021 sent for rectifying the defects occurred during UDR Scheme in respect of the lands in S.F.No.18/3A situated at Bethakulla Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District in accordance with law and within a stipulated period.

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.07.2021 sent for rectifying the defects occurred during UDR Scheme in respect of the 1 / 4
lands in S.F.No.18/3A situated at Bethakulla Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District in accordance with law and within a stipulated period.

In order to rectify the mistake said to have been occurred during the UDR survey in respect of the lands in S.F.No.18/3A situated at Bethakulla Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, the petitioner had given a representation on 26.07.2020 as well as on 21.07.2021 to the respondents especially the 1st respondent. On receipt of the same, by a communication dated 30.07.2021, the 1st respondent directed the Tahsildar, Hosur to conduct enquiry and send a report enabling the 1st respondent to pass orders on the plea raised by the petitioner. However, so far no further progress has been shown. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
3. Heard Mr.K.Govi Ganesan learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader for the 1st respondent.

Learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that, the said representation would be considered by the 1st respondent of course after receipt of the report from the Tahsildar and orders to that effect would be passed finally by the 1st respondent on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the said submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader and taking note of the factual matrix of the case, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order. ●That there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 26.07.2020 and 21.07.2021, of course on receipt of the report of the Tahsildar, Hosur, who shall forward the said report after verifying the records within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
●On receipt of the same, final orders shall be passed by the 1st respondent within a period of six weeks thereafter.
