O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to initiate necessary action on the respondents 6 to 8 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2015, in accordance with law within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

2. No one is appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

3. It is averred in the petition that the petitioner made a representation on 21.04.2015 to the respondents 1 to 4, to take appropriate action against the respondents 6 to 8, as they kept the petitioner and one Gopal under illegal custody and allegedly tortured them to accept some false cases and threatened that they would file some other false cases and terminate their life in the name of encounter. The petitioner stated in his representation that the petitioner and Gopal escaped from the clutches of the police officials in order to save their life, when the police vehicle was standing at the signal situated at Vadapalani, Laxman-Sruthi Traffic Signal.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that already the petitioner is an accused in several criminal cases and he is facing trial.

5. Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the prayer sought for in the present writ petition cannot be granted. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
