PRAYER : Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents police to provide adequate police protection to my life and property on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 29.12.2023 given before the respondents 1 to 3, on the strength of an injunction order dated 13.12.2023 made in IA. No.09 of 2023 in O.S No.279 of 2021 passed by the Sub-Court, Uthangarai. For Petitioners : Mr.K.Vijayalakshmi 1/4

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondent police to provide police protection to the life and property of the petitioner based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 29.12.2023. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. 3.The petitioner is seeking for police protection based on the interim order passed by the learned Sub Court, Uthangarai, dated 13.12.2023. It is pleaded in the affidavit that the complaint was given in person on 29.12.2023 before the 2nd and 3rd respondents. Since the same was not acted upon, it was sent by registered post on 06.01.2024. Even thereafter, there was no response, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the interim order passed by the Court below, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to conduct an enquiry based on the complaint given by the petitioner 2/4
on 06.01.2024 by taking into consideration the order passed by the learned Sub Court, Uthangarai. The enquiry shall be completed and a final decision shall be taken, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
