The father of the petitioner worked as Stretcher Puller in Government Royapettah Hospital. He died on 04.5.2007. The petitioner along with No Objection letters given by his mother and elder brother submitted an application for Compassionate Appointment on 14.8.2007. The first respondent vide its letter dated 17.12.2008 informed the petitioner with regard to the pendency of the application. However, there was no follow up action taken by the respondents. The petitioner is therefore before this Court.

2. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the application dated 14.8.2007 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
