Seeking a direction to the respondents to register the complaint dated 10.04.2015 on the file of the second respondent police, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that the petition enquiry is pending in Acknowledgment Slip No.25/2015 on the file of the second respondent. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry in Acknowledgment Slip No.25/2015 and act in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].
