ORDER

(Order of the court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, ACJ.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. The writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing first respondent to dispose of representation of the petitioner dated 2.2.2016 pending on the file of the first respondent herein in accordance with law within the time frame as fixed by this Honourable Court.

3. The petitioner, being a resident of Narathampoondi Village, Thiruvannamalai Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District Coimbatore District and having aggrieved over the encroachments of lands adjacent to a lake in their village viz., Narathampoondi lake and, it appears, had submitted a representation wayback in February 2016, to the respondentauthorities to re-lay the bund of the lake excluding Survey No.103/1 of that village wherein a temple of six decades old is situate and finding that no action has been taken on his representation, has come forward with the present writ petition, by way of a public interest litigation.

4. Therefore, it is for the petitioner to once again submit a representation to the District Collector, Thiruvannamalai enclosing the documents available, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and in such event, it is for the District Collector, Thiruvannamalai District to do the needful in accordance with law, within a period of three months thereafter.
