J U D G M E N T

1. After counsels hade made their submissions before me at some length, both sides, based on the instructions received in that behalf, agreed to settle the matter on the following terms: i) That respondent Nos.1 and 2 shall pay to the appellant, jointly and severally, a lumpsum amount of Rs.9,00,000/- (Rupees Nine lakhs only), in one single shot, on or before 25.11.2016. ii) Upon receipt of the aforementioned amount, the appellant will make no further claims with respect to the matters, which are subject matter of the captioned appeal.

iii) The appellant and/or her husband, Mr.Venkitachalam will not issue any disparaging or defamatory statements, qua respondent No.2 and/or his family members.

iv) The settlement reached in the captioned appeal will not apply

to the pending Civil Suit, being: O.S.No.208 of 2012, filed in the District Court at Chengalpet, Tamil Nadu.

2. To be noted, counsel for the parties have appended their signature to the order sheet in affirmation of the terms of settlement recorded above. Mr.Venkitachalam Iyer, the husband of the appellant, who is present in Court, today, has also appended his signature to the order sheet. Mr.Venkitachalam Iyer affirms that he has received the appellant's consent to settle the matter based on the aforesaid terms.

3. Accordingly, the captioned appeal is closed based on the aforestated terms.

4. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
