ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the second respondent to approve the promotion and appointment of the petitioner as Headmaster in the fourth respondent School, with effect from 20.06.2017, with all consequential monetary benefits, on the basis of the proposal submitted by the fourth respondent dated 20.06.2017.

The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that the second respondent has not approved his promotion to the post of Headmaster in the fourth respondent School with effect from 20.06.2017 till date. The proposal was submitted by the fourth respondent seeking for approval of the petitioner's promotion on 20.06.2017.

No prejudice would be caused to the second respondent if
the fourth respondent's proposal dated 20.06.2017 seeking for approval for the promotion of the petitioner as a Headmaster in the fourth respondent School with effect from 20.06.2017 is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the fourth respondent's proposal dated 20.06.2017 seeking approval for the promotion of the petitioner as a Headmaster in the fourth respondent School with effect from 20.06.2017 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
