O R D E R

When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent, have filed a joint compromise memo duly signed by the petitioner, second respondent and their respective counsel, in which it is stated that with the help of the elder people's advice, the petitioner and the second respondent have compromised the matter and settled the issues amicably between them. It is also stated in the joint compromise memo that the second respondent is not willing to pursue the complaint any further.

2.Both the parties are present. Their identities have been verified and they accepted the contents in the joint compromise memo as true and genuine.

3.The joint compromise memo is recorded and the same shall form part of this order. In view of the joint compromise memo, the proceedings in P.R.C.No.66 of 2016 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Alandur, Chennai, against the petitioner, is quashed, and the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of in terms of the joint compromise memo.
