PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 397 read with 401 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to set aside the order in Crl.M.P.No.2122/2018 in C.A.No.30/2018 dated 03.04.2018 on the file of Principal Sessions Judge, Villupuram District and also suspend the sentence of imprisonment passed by the Judicial Magistrate Court-2, Tindivanam dated 12.03.2018 in C.C.No.7 of 2018 in CA.No.30/2018 on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge, Villupuram.

O R D E R

This Criminal Revision Petition is filed to set aside the order in Crl.M.P.No.2122/2018 in C.A.No.30/2018 dated 03.04.2018 on the file of Principal Sessions Judge, Villupuram District and also suspend the sentence of imprisonment passed by the Judicial Magistrate Court-2, Tindivanam dated 12.03.2018 in C.C.No.7 of 2018 in CA.No.30/2018 on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge, Villupuram.

2. The Criminal Revision has filed against the order refusing to suspend the sentence pending the appeal. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. On a perusal of the order, it is seen that the antecedents of the petitioners herein are not satisfactory and they appear to have been facing more than three cases which are pending against them in Kancheepuram District for the offence under Section 380 of IPC.

4. In view of the above, I do not find any irregularities and illegalities in the order passed by the Sessions Judge, the Criminal Revision is dismissed. The learned Sessions Judge is directed to dispose of the appeal within a period of two weeks from the date of the receipt of a copy of this order.
