ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to give the necessary adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb, body and person.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had earlier got an order in the writ petition directing the respondent Police to give police protection, but the respondent Police is not complying with the order. Hence, the petitioner has filed this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that even when the petitioner goes to his home town i.e. Thiruvarur District, the respondent Police is ready to give police protection to him.

4. It is seen that again the petitioner approached this Court by way of writ petition in W.P.No.29093 of 2018, and by an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

order dated 19.11.2018 this Court disposed of the writ petition by directing the respondent Police to grant police protection to the petitioner when the petitioner visits his home town at Thiruvarur on receipt of his representation. Under this circumstances, the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh representation to the police station concerned for police protection and on receipt of the request by the jurisdiction police station concerned, the jurisdiction police station is directed to grant police protection to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with the above said direction. No costs.
