No. 4 / 3 and the property admeasuring 10 ares comprised in S. No. 4 / 4 situated at Su. Pallipet village Tirupattur Taluk and District and grant patta in the name of the petitioner and grant such other relief deem fit and proper under the circumstances fo the case.

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose the appeal dated 14.11.2022 filed by the petitioner against the proceedings in na.Ka A4 / 1710 / 2020 dated 25.05.2022 on the file of the 2nd respondent and to cancel the patta No. 4812 and 4813 issued in favour of the respondents 5 to 11 for the property admeasuring 10 ares cents comprised in S. No. 4 / 3 and the property admeasuring 10 ares comprised in S. No. 4 / 4 situated at Su. Pallipet village Tirupattur Taluk and District and grant patta in the name of the petitioner.

2. As against the order passed by the 2nd respondent Revenue Divisional Officer dated 25.05.2022 with regard to the issuance of patta, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the 1st respondent District Revenue Officer on 14.11.2022. In order to decide the said appeal at an early date on merits and to pass orders, seeking directions from this Court the present writ petition has been moved.
3. Heard Mr.Rajarajan learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents. In view of the order that is going to be passed in this writ petition, notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.
4. Learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that, the said appeal filed before the 1st respondent would be considered and decided on merits and in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of being heard to both sides within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Having regard to the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order.

"That there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to complete the hearing of the appeal dated 14.11.2022 filed by the petitioner and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
