This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to grant permission and provide adequate police protection to celebrate Thai Pongal Festival From 16.01.2019 to 17.01.2019 at Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Thidal, (Opposide Mariamman Temple) U.Sellur Village, Ulundhurpet Taluk based on the petitioner representation dated 27.12.2018.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that both the parties have sought for police protection to celebrate the Pongal Festival. Since the police apprehended law and order problem, both the petitions were rejected. As of now this petition has also become Infructuous due to the fact that the Pongal Festival is already over. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
