ORDER

This Court by order dated 18.02.2020 while disposing the revision confirmed the conviction of the petitioner by the trial Court, confirmed by the lower Appellate Court, but modified the sentence and directed the petitioner to pay a fine of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) to the Chief Justice's Relief Fund within a period of four weeks from the date of the order and directed the Registry to post the matter for reporting compliance on 25.03.2020.

2.Today when the matter taken up for hearing for reporting compliance, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the copy of the order was made ready on 12.03.2020. Immediately on 13.03.2020, the fine amount of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) has been paid. The delay in remitting the fine amount occurred due to delay in order copy made ready and received. From the records, it is seen that the order copy is despatched on 11.03.2020. Hence, the delay is condoned. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner produced the copy of the receipt for payment of fine amount of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand

only) before this Court.
