The learned Additional Advocate General relying on the compliance report filed by the fourth respondent made a submission that the subject lands belonging to the Government were resumed by evicting the encroachers. In order to protect and prevent the subject property from any further encroachments, concrete post and barbed metal wire fencing were erected around the boundaries of the subject property following the process of law. The Village Administrative Officer, Sholinganallur Village and the Tahsildar, Sholinganallur Taluk are instructed to have a vigil over the Government properties.

2.It is brought to the notice of this Court that larger extent of Government properties are identified in that locality measuring about 62 acres and all such lands are expected to be utilized meaningfully for the public purposes in the manner known to law.
