Prayer:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider the application dated 20.01.2011 which was assigned File No.Na.Ka.3334/2013/A2 dated 26.07.2014 of the petitioner and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

ORDER
Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. Since the writ petition is being disposed of without affecting the interest of the fourth respondent, notice to the said respondent is dispensed with. 2.The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider his application dated 20.01.2011, wherein and whereby the petitioner sought for cancellation of patta issued in favour of the fourth respondent and consequently to issue the said patta in his favour.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that though the second respondent has issued a notice of enquiry on several occasions and the petitioner has also attended the said enquiry, till this date, the second respondent has not passed any final order. 4.This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, by directing the second respondent to dispose of the appeal/representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, fourth respondent and other interested parties if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the said appeal/representation is not yet disposed of.
