ORDER

Admittedly, the land in question is a Government property. Therefore, no writ of mandamus can be issued to compel the respondents to grant patta in respect of the property in favour of the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted and the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. However, the dismissal of the writ petition will not prevent the petitioner from pursuing his representation before the authority.
