O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No. 5 of 2018, pending on the file of the first respondent police.

2. It is seen from allegations made in the complaint that there was an affair between the petitioner and the second respondent. After some time, due to some mis-understanding, the relationship got snapped.

3. The second respondent has given a complaint to the respondent police stating that the petitioner taking advantage of the relationship, had physical relationship with the second respondent and subsequently refused to marry the second respondent.

4. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner came to know that the second respondent has relationship with some other persons also and when an attempt was made to settle the issue, the second respondent demanded Rs.15,00,000/- and therefore, a complaint has also been given to the very same respondent police and Complaint No.821 was registered and the same is kept pending.

5. In view of the above, this criminal original petition stands disposed of, with a direction to the first respondent to enquire both the complaint given by the petitioner as well as the FIR registered based on the compliant given by the second respondent and take an appropriate decision in accordance with law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
