For Petitioner in all W.Ps : Mr.N.Jyothi for Mr.D.Sivakumar For Respondents in all W.Ps : Mr.Richardson Wilson Government Advocate C O M M O N O R D E R The writ petitions are filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to observe the mandatory procedures contemplated in the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983 (Tamil Nadu Act 4 of 1989) before effecting any change or modification with respect to the entries in the patta which already stood issued to the petitioners by the fourth respondent in his proceedings No.T.K.8A.4803/1421 dated 13.06.2012 in Patta Nos.763 to 765, Ninnakarai Village, Chengalpattu Taluk,

It is needless to say that the fourth respondent ought to have followed the mandatory procedures contemplated under the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983 while changing or modifying the entries in the patta. However, the fourth respondent is hereby directed to observe the procedures contemplated under the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983 while changing or modifying the entries made in the patta and particularly in these cases with regard to the petitioners' respective lands as mentioned in the proceedings, if correct entry is not already made.

3. With the above direction, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
