.. Respondents in W.P.No.28337 and 33014 of 2017 Writ Petition No.5212 of 2018 filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the first respondent regarding para 9(c)(vi) of the guidelines issued for

strict implementation of reservation policy of the Government in Universities, deemed to be Universities, Colleges and other Grant-in-Aid Institutions of the year 2006 and to quash the same and consequently to direct the second and third respondents to admit the petitioner to the programme leading to the Ph.D. Degree in the branch of Mechanical Engineering. Writ Petition No.28337 of 2017 filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the first respondent with No.PU/AS/Ac2-2/PEC-Ph.D/2017-18/247, dated 19.10.2017 and to quash the same and consequently to direct the first respondent to admit the petitioner to the Ph.D. programme in the faculty of Mechanical Engineering against the available vacancies.

Writ Petition No.33014 of 2017 filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to admit the petitioner to the Ph.D. programme in the faculty of Mechanical Engineering for the academic year 2017-2018 against the available vacancy. For petitioner in all W.Ps.

ORDER

It is represented by either side that the relief sought for by the petitioner in these Writ Petitions, had been granted by the respondents and the petitioner has been given admission by the Pondicherry University in Ph.D. programme in the faculty of Mechanical Engineering for the academic year 2017-2018. Hence, nothing further survives for consideration in these Writ Petitions, which are accordingly closed. No costs. Consequently, W.M.Ps. are closed.
