ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pay the entire retirement benefits to the tune of Rs. 12,41,055/- due under heads of Provident Fund, Gratuity, Leave surrender salary with 12%t interest to the petitioner for the delayed disbursal from the date of retirement to the date of disbursal of the entire amount to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsels appearing on either side. With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he joined the service of the third respondent Society on 01.03.1985 and retired on 31.05.2014. The respondents issued only a cheque of Rs.1,41,000/- on 21.05.2015, however, the retirement benefits of the petitioner to the tune of Rs. 12,41,055/- is due under the heads of Provident Fund, Gratuity, Leave surrender salary. Therefore, the petitioner made several representations in this regard and on 30.09.2025, he again made a representation to the respondents ventilating all his grievances and medical issues, but there was no response so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. In view of the limited request made by the petitioner with regard to due settlement of his retirement benefits, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 30.09.2025 in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
