ORDER

The petitioners have come up with the present Contempt Petition, for the alleged disobedience of the direction issued by this Court vide judgment dated 22.06.2017 passed in W.A.No.1222 of 2015.

2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the order of this Court has been complied with by the first respondent.

3.The first respondent has also filed an affidavit of compliance dated 28.03.2018, wherein, in paras 4 to 6, it has been stated as follows:

4.I most respectfully state that out of all the candidates who applied to the post of Principal (Ad hoc), three applicants namely Dr.K.Revathy, Dr.K.R.S.Girija Shyamsundar, who is the first applicant herein and Dr.R.Mallika were short listed based on their API scores according to the UGC Regulations, 2010 and were called for interview by the selection

committee.

5.I most respectfully state that the selection committee interviewed all the three above named candidates on 27.3.2018. The selection committee unanimously selected Dr.K.Revathi for the post of Principal (Ad hoc) after taking into consideration all the stipulated parameters mentioned in UGC Regulations, 2010.

6.I most respectfully therefore state that we are in compliance of the order dated 22.6.2017 in WA.1222 of 2015.

4.Recording the same, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
