ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to give police protection and also permission to conduct the cultural programme on 17.01.2020 in the event of Arulmighu Sri Mariamman Thirukoil at Belarahalli, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2020.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that since the petition itself was filed only on 10.01.2020, he could not get instructions from the respondent police and therefore he requested to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and also to conduct enquiry with regard to the petitioner's representation and also with rival group if any and pass an order in accordance with law.

3. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry with regard to the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2020 with the petitioner and also with the rival group if any and pass an order in accordance with law and inform the result to the parties on or before 15.01.2020.

4. With the aforesaid directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
