O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 29.04.2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law. 2.In the petition it has been stated that the marriage between the petitioner and one Mr.K.Peter Jackson took place on 03.12.2014 as per Christian Rites and customs. At the time of marriage, the petitioner's parents has given 17 sovereigns of gold and 2 lakhs cash to the said Peter Jackson and his parents. After marriage, they started their matrimonial life at her husband' house, but her marriage life was not moving smoothly due to demand of money from her marriage.

It is further started that the petitioner's husband having illegal affair with lot of girls and his parents also support the same and they are trying to arrange for second marriage to the petitioner's husband. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 29.04.2015 and C.S.R.No.218 of 2015 has also been assigned. But, till date no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present criminal original petition.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a detail enquiry was conducted on the complaint given by the petitioner and the matter was compromised between the parties. Hence, the complaint of the petitioner dated 29.04.2015 was closed.

5. Since the complaint has already been closed, recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to workout her remedy in the manner known to law.
