Hence, this Court directed the Registry to list the cases on 26.09.2016, under the caption "For Dismissal", by printing the name of the appellant. Accordingly, the cases were listed today, and when taken up for hearing, again, there is no representation on behalf of the appellant. Thus, it appears that the appellant is not interested in prosecuting the Appeals any further. Though the learned counsel appearing for the respondent in C.M.A.No.1881 of 2000, sought for an adjournment, this Court is not inclined to adjourn the matters. Accordingly, these Civil Miscellaneous Appeals are dismissed for non prosecution. The interim stay granted by this Court in C.M.P.Nos.17943 to 17946 of 2000, is hereby vacated. No costs.
