Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned notice in Na.Ka.No.9424/2023/H1/S dated 03.01.2024 by the 3rd respondent and quash the same and further forbear the respondents from interfering with the petitioner's possession with respect to the property mentioned in the schedule hereunder.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.I.Abrar Md. Abdullah, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. The petitioner is issued with the notice under Section 128(1)(b) of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998. The petitioner has filed a reply to the same.

3. Naturally, the concerned authority, before passing the final order, shall consider the reply filed by the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law.

4. In light of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.1116 of 2024 is closed.
