The petitioner/first accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 3(2)(a), 4(1), 5(1)(a) ITP Act and 370 of IPC in Crime No.560 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. It is stated that the petitioner is the owner of the lodge which was used for immoral purposes/prostitution.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner was not aware of the purpose for which the lodge was being put to.
4. Taking all the factors into consideration and also the fact that he is the owner of the lodge and stands as an accused for the activities in the lodge, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Petition stands dismissed.
