(This case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to call for the records relating to the charge sheet in C.C.No.95 of 2015 for the offence under Sections 294 (b), 323, 324 and 506(i) IPC on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1 Panruti and to quash the same.

2. There is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that there was no stay in this case and the trial proceeded and the petitioner was not found guilty pursuant to which, he has been acquitted under Section 248(i) Cr.P.C. On 05.03.2016.

4. In view of the above submission that the trial already proceeded and that the petitioner has been acquitted on 05.03.2016 itself, this court is inclined to close this petition, since nothing survives for further adjudication.

5. This Criminal Original Petition stands closed accordingly. Consecutively, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
