ORDER
Mr.S.Kalaiselvan, learned Standing Counsel, who appears for respondents has filed the following status report / written instructions:
"The 3rd Respondent above named respectfully submits as follows:
1.The petitioner seeking order or direction in the nature of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the 4th respondent in Lr.No.AE/0LM/EM/F.AA/A.No.282 dated 15.3.2022 and quash the same and directing the 2nd respondent to change the open well from S.No.131/9 to S.No.132/4 in the petitioner agriculture service connection application No.SLM No. 235/2000-01 dated 07.03.2001, regarding to provide agriculture pumpset of electricity under normal priority scheme to the open square well.
2. It is further humbly submits that the amendments of Tamil Nadu Electricity Distribution Code 27 Sub Regulation 2(a)(b)(d) 2/4
are applicable to the petitioner to change of survey number and location of well.
3. The petitioner shall be eligible to provide one agricultural service connection to his well bore, subject to the condition if the well or borewell are independent and physically separated form another one. The minimum extent of land to be irrigated from each well / bore well shall be 0.5 acre.
4. It is most respectfully submitted that the TANGEDCO is ready to provide one agricultural service connection to the petitioner under seniority wise with the above conditions and TNREC Press Release P.R.No.1/2020 dated 10/9/2022 conditions.
5. It is most respectfully submitted that the TANGEDCO is ready to abide by any order that may be passed by this Hon'ble Court."
2. In light of the aforesaid, the prayer of the petitioner stands achieved and the petitioner does not pursue this writ petition any longer.
3. Recording the above, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
