Both the parties are present. Mr.J. Chandran, counsel for the appellant and Mr. J. Ravichandran, Party in person are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:
TERMS OF SETTLEMENT The matter is not posted in the list. Taken up by consent. The award amount is Rs.91,000/- along with interest at 7.5% per annum.
It is agreed and settled at Rs.75,000/- with interest at 7.5% per annum from the date of petition till the date of deposit. Rs.25,000/- has already been deposited and the balance amount shall be deposited by the Insurance Company, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
On such deposit, the respondent is permitted to withdraw the above said agreed award amount along with interest without filing any formal petition. Award is passed accordingly. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
The claimant Mr. J. Ravichandran is present. His Advocate also has given a letter of consent for the above settlement. The letter is recorded and the copy of letter is taken on file. The signature of the claimant is sufficient for the purpose of completing the award. The signature of the counsel is dispensed with.
The Tribunal is directed to follow the High Court's circular with reference to payment to the party concerned on proper identification in accordance with the terms of the award, without insisting on any formal permission petition. sd/- The National Insurance Company Ltd., sd/- Pondicherry.

The full Court fee paid shall be refunded to the appellant in the manner provided under Section 69-A of the Tamil Nadu Court-Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955 and the Court Fees Act, 1870 as provided for under sub Sec.1 of Section 21 r/w 25 of LSA Act 1987 as amended in 1994.
