Crl.O.P.No.973 of 2024 Crl.O.P.No.973 of 2024 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN,J.
The petitioner/A2 in Crime No.370 of 2023 registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 332 and 506(i) of IPC seeks anticipatory bail.
2. It is stated that A1 and A2 who are wife and husband, were both drunk and were shouting in the middle of the road. This was noticed by the respondent who came there and the accused had also abused the police party. It is stated that this petitioner ran inside of the house and locked himself. The respondent had arrested his wife who was standing in the road. This conduct of this petitioner to run away from the place and locking himself inside the house, leaving the wife to be arrested and suffer incarceration has to be condemned.
3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 24.01.2024 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
