Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to onsider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.02.2018 by regulating TAXI/TOLL through Vending Committee instead of Auctioning the same to third parties to secure the ends of justice.

Heard Mr.R.Sankarasubbu, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.V.Shanmuga Sundar, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2; Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 3 and 4 and perused the records.
2. This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.02.2018.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner.
4. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 3 and 4 submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.
5. In the light of the above submission and the nature of prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.02.2018 and take appropriate action on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, as early as possible, preferably, twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There is no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
