ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(A),4(1)(a) of TNP Act in Crime.No.26 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is a sole accused in this case. The allegation is that the petitioner was illegally transporting 20 liters of I.D. Arrack. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and is no way connected with the alleged offence. Hence he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner was illegally transporting 20 liters of I.D. Arrack. He would further submit that the investigation is still in preliminary stage. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of offence and the stage of investigation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
