O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from doing any activities in S.No.443/2A of an extent of 80 cents in

Muthanampalayam Village, Tiruppur South Taluk, without giving particulars of acquisition proceedings in respect of the above said land.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the subject property is the petitioner's property and the same was acquired from his father by way of settlement deed. Whileso, the revenue officials informed that the subject property was acquired for Parambikulam Aaliyar Project, however no communication or notice with regard to the land acquisition was received either by the petitioner or by his father and no compensation has been deposited. Hence, the petitioner made representation dated 10.03.2021 to the respondents seeking particulars of the land acquisition proceedings in respect of the subject property and since the same has not yet been considered has filed this writ petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in the manner known to law and appropriate orders will be passed within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

4.In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2021, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
