(CR.NO.5/2020) PetitionS praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to [i] modify the condition granted by this Hon'ble Court on 07.10.2020 made in Crl.OP.No.15345/2020 as "the first petitioner shall report before the respondent police every day at 10.30 a.m. for a period of two weeks and thereafter every Monday at 10.30 a.m. until further orders. Petitioners 2 to 6 shall report before the respondent police every day at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required". {IN CRL.MP.NO.2066/2021] [ii] extend the time granted by this Hon'ble Court on 07.10.2020 made in Crl.OP.No.15345/2020. {IN CRL.MP.NO.2068/2021] Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.M.VINOTH, Advocate for the Petitioners [IN BOTH THE PETITIONS] and of M/S.T.SHANMUGA RAJESWARAN, Government Advocate (crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent [IN BOTH THE PETITIONS] the court made the following order:-
The petitions are filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioners in Crl.O.P.No.15345 of 2020 dated 07.10.2020 directing the 1st petitioner to report before the respondent police everyday at 10.30 a.m. for a period of two weeks and thereafter, every Monday at 10.30 a.m. until further orders and the petitioners 2 to 6 were directed to report before the respondent police everyday at 10.30 a.m. for a period to two weeks and thereafter as and when required and the extend the time for furnishing sureties.
2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition 7(b) imposed on the petitioners in Crl.O.P.No.15345 of 2020 dated 07.10.2020, is modified to the effect that the petitioners shall report before the respondent police everyday at 10.30 a.m. for a period of one week and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation.
4. A further period of two weeks time is extended from the date on which the order copy is made ready, to comply with the condition of furnishing sureties.
5. The petitions are ordered accordingly.
