ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2022 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Mrs.P.T.Ramadevi, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that his wife passed away on 22.10.2020 and in the death certificate, there is a mistake with regard to the husband's name. For rectification of the name in the death certificate, he made a representation before the respondents on 17.11.2022. However, till date, the said representation was not consider and hence, the present writ petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

5. The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered and 2/4

appropriate orders will be passed.

6. Considering the limited request made by the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the respondents and produce all the relevant documents to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of the same, the respondents shall consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of one month, thereafter, on merits and in accordance with law.
