Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus for the direction to the third respondent herein to consider his representation dated 18.01.2017, and pass orders within a stipulated time fixed by this Hon'ble Court, and may pass orders herein to the 3rd respondent to take strict action against the 1st respondent for deliberately providing wrong information based on the invalid Pro-forma report of the Tamilnadu Wakf board, and against the 2nd respondent for not providing the information.

By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

Grievance expressed by the petitioner is that the first respondent has furnished wrong/false information in respect of the query raised by him under the Right to Information Act, 2005 and therefore, he approached the second respondent in the form of appeal dated 04.01.2017, but the second respondent did not pass orders so far and therefore, he approached the third respondent by way of second appeal dated 18.01.2017 and though it has been numbered as SA.No.460/2017, it has not been disposed of and therefore, came forward with this writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of the petitioner/party-in-person, Mr.V.Lakshminarayanan, learned counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.Niranjan Rajagopalan, learned counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the third respondent.
4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in S.A.No.460/2017, after putting on notice, the Tamil Nadu Wakf Board and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as to the Tamil Nadu Wakf Board.
