ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for directing the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 17.12.2022 in CSR.No.1620 of 2022 dated 19.12.2012 in accordance with law. 1/4
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner had given a sum of Rs.15,00,000/- to one Sethuraman. When the petitioner demanded the money back, said Sethuraman had issued a cheque, however, the said cheque was dishonoured. When it was informed to him and asked to repay the money, Sethuraman said to have made a death threat against the petitioner. Sethuraman had committed criminal intimidation and cheating, therefore the petitioner gave a complaint dated 17.12.2022. Since no action was taken, the present petition is filed.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that, on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, an enquiry in CSR.No.1620 of 2022 was conducted and it revealed that there was monitory transaction between the petitioner and Sethuraman and it is 'civil in nature'. The allegations made in the complaint are not true. Therefore, petitioner's complaint was closed as 'civil in nature'.
4. In view of the submission of learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Court is of the view that no direction can be given to register the petitioner's complaint. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is 2/4
dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
